At the beginning in 1989, with a total staff of 12 at Dunedin House, Hull, the company then started to embark in 1999 on a spectacular expansion plan that would see them develop into one of the leading collection agencies in the UK.
Their first move was to Jarrett House in the Malting with the brief to Tutty's to provide a designer look, yet practical furniture solution to meet the MD’s expectations.
This expectation grew with the further expansion & acquisition of Kingston Gardens, again in the Maltings, a new base in Saltcoates, Kilmarnock & a complete re-furbishment of Midland House in Glasgow.
This had now brought Wescot into the “premiership” of collection agencies until their final “flagship” acquisition, the existing building of old Hull Brewery at the Maltings, was completely re-furbished both externally & internally.
Tutty's provided ALL the space planning, design & supply of furniture & equipment for all these developments and are still the preferred supplier to Wescot Credit.
